    With shoulder problems, you should consider to optimize your draw cycle in a way to make more use of your larger back muscles. Great Video btw. bought the same bow a few months ago as an entry level bow, coming from Trad archery. I like it, but I added some limb dampeners and a drop away rest from Ripcord. For me a perfect beginner Compound bow for someone just starting into Archery or wanting to try Compound bows. Thanks for the review!

    How do you compare the Decree IC vs the original dream season DNA??

    • @RealRadNek
      @RealRadNek 3 месяца назад

      In retrospect, I would shoot the DNA over the Decree IC. The torque on the Decree was harder to control. Inevitably, with the Decree, I would have a flyer about every 4th or 5th shot where I got a little lazy but the DNA was more forgiving when you have a lazy shot. My record deer kill is still with the DNA, 82 yards, even though I am now shooting a Mathews V3. You can see that kill here - ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=82+yard+axis+bow+kill - Thanks for watching and all the best.

I called ONN and they said they don't cover drop protection. They are advertising falsely and I am hoping I can find enough people to file a class action lawsuit against them. My new Blackout Distinct ($530)suffers from horizontal nock travel. The bow has NEVER shot a bullet - through paper. The Whisker Bisquit tames this problem somewhat. Since it is the lower cam that leans and causes the problem, it cannot be fixed! I do not recommend this excuse for a bow.

    • @RealRadNek
      @RealRadNek 7 месяцев назад

      Sorry to hear that. Have you tried returning the bow? Sounds like a manufacturing defect.

    • @jthepickle7
      @jthepickle7 7 месяцев назад

      @@RealRadNek Actually, yesterday I put a .024" piece of feeler gauge under the lower, left limb. This sprung the lower cam straight and I'm getting no more right nock tear, through paper. Today I'm working on vertical nock travel, now that horizontal travel is 'fixed'. Retarding the lower cam by 2 twists of the C.C. seems to be working. (all adjustments on this bow are counter-intuitive!) Try laying an arrow against the right side of the lower cam on a Blackout bow, I'll bet the cam leans into the string.

    Oh, stop with your Matthew V3 already listen adjust the site bring up the star rating from the 4 to 5. Everybody knows that and it’s not the bow it’s the person behind the bow. Also, if that bow is getting a 4.5 star for that price point, there is no need to spend your harder money on a Matthews V3 and with the skills you have you’re worth a lot more.

    • @RealRadNek

I have had one near opportunity on a big 6X6 mature bull but I was 200 yards away in the wrong stand that particular morning about 4 years ago. They will be able to set you up with the correct bow, draw length, Peepsight, height, and all the other details of setting up a bow properly. If you try to do it on your own, it will take you a long time to figure out all the intricate details of becoming a competent archer. All the best and thanks for watching.

      Nothing IMO is full proof but scientifically if you look it up it is a real probable process that changes the molecular structures of the molecules that smell coming off your body. Thanks for watching and blessings to you.

    Nice work sir. I have both a saddle and JX3. The JX3 was my solution for the need of a seat. But I am still going to try your idea. I find it much better to shoot standing on a saddle than sitting on the JX3. This is also much less bulky. Thank you for sharing.

    I’m curious how elk, and all the exotic deer are on your property? Did state of texas stock them or how does this work?

    • @RealRadNek
      @RealRadNek 10 месяцев назад

      Wouldn't that be nice if the TPWD showed up with a truckload of deer for my property but here's the reality. I own 101 "no fence" acres on an association ranch that is 10,600+ low fence acres where 15-20 elk were released free range on the property 20+ years ago by the land developer. The elk have established small populations on the ranch and beyond since the whole ranch is low fence. The Axis herds are large and strong in the whole of the Hill Country of Texas and their populations have been well established for years going back 50+ years on our ranch and elsewhere. However, in recent years Axis populations are numerous enough to put pressure on native whitetail populations since axis are better suited for survival being both grazers and browsers. WT are browsers only giving them a distinct disadvantage in lean rain years. All the other exotic deer types are rare in number as they get shot rather quickly. Thanks for watching. Blessings to you.

    I made this bow press but I'm using a 8 inch wooden wheel with a handle. I put it on an old sewing machine cabinet there is enough room for a draw board on the back side and on the one end I put a bow vise on it so I can do it all in one location

    I just got a set of these but the chisel tip instead of cut on contact after seeing my buddy drop a buck with it. I set the tension up good and carry them and fixed with me. I believe that regardless of broadhead a good shot placement will kill. Even a sharpened field tip can kill if in the correct spot. I figure if the mechanical doesnt work at least I still have the fixed blade. Ive also heard that basically all mechanicals you should shoot only broadside animals which is a con as you cant always get that shot. but thats why i have both. start with the fixed and if i have time and can switch ima switch. good to see a video where there is some cons as almost every broadhead out there people just talk up.

      Thanks for sharing, I would never advocate for sharpening a field trip and shooting it at a deer as even a double lung might take a day or two for a deer to die. I’m now using a 150 grain hardened steel fixed 2 blade honed razor sharp with leather wheel. No more bone problems with mechanicals that open up like an umbrella. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great season. Blessings

      @@RealRadNek not saying the field tip is a good idea but if a .22 can kill a deer and a 450 bushmaster wounded one it comes down to shot placment. I havent used any 2 blades before only muzzy trocars and schwacker 252 fixed
